Hello, I am Panos Karachristos, photographer and filmmaker with over a decade of experience dedicated to the art of visual storytelling. Since 2013, I have worked passionately to capture the essence of every subject and project, bringing a cinematic eye and a commitment to perfection to each piece.
My journey began with a foundation in theater and cinema studies at the University of Patras, where I explored the depth of storytelling and visual arts. This background has been instrumental in shaping my approach to photography and filmmaking, allowing me to infuse each project with narrative depth and artistic integrity.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with major companies across Greece, crafting images and films that not only meet but elevate brand vision. My process is grounded in understanding my clients’ goals, meticulously planning, and delivering results that resonate and captivate.

Employment
I worked as a video editor and photo editor at New Ideas Studio, where my main responsibilities included product photography editing as well as the creation of documentary-style video content. During my time there, I contributed to projects focusing on significant cultural subjects such as Mount Athos and the region of Mani, the latter enriched with the poetry of Yannis Ritsos. The highlight of these productions was the public screening of the film at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, directed by Sarantos Sakellakos, an experience that showcased the depth and artistic quality of our work.
My next professional step was working as an external filmmaker for SKAI TV and RISE TV. At SKAI, I was responsible for creating tourism-focused content for the show Atairiastoi, capturing destinations and experiences in a dynamic and engaging way. At RISE TV, my work expanded into producing a diverse range of material, including interviews, presentations, special features, and various thematic segments. This role allowed me to further develop my storytelling skills and versatility in audiovisual production across different formats and audiences.
Finally, I became the founder and co-owner of Pictum, where I have produced photography campaigns and video projects for major brands such as Funky Buddha and Namaste. My work also includes creating video content for European Union–related sectors, including projects for Eurocities. Among the most notable moments of my career was the honor of photographing the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou—an experience that reflects the trust, professionalism, and creative quality that I feel define my work.
